SajdaSync

Your salah.
Your calendar.

Location-accurate prayer times in your preferred calendar platform.

Salah. Salat. Namaz.

Whatever you call it, your five daily check-ins with Allah aren’t just an obligation: they’re your path to success in the hereafter and in this world. Health, discipline, confidence, focus, and inner peace are all by-products of strengthening your daily connection with Allah.

But it isn't always that easy, is it?

Not everyone can hear adhan.

You could be living in a country where most masjids aren’t permitted to use loudspeakers for adhan. Maybe you just don’t live close enough to a masjid. You might use headphones throughout the day, or your surroundings could be too noisy for you to hear adhan.

But the biggest challenges are internal.

You could be tired or ill. Maybe you have trouble remembering or focusing. There’s almost always something pulling you away from your obligations to the Creator.

So what do you do?

You might download dedicated apps that play a recording of adhan at the right time for your location. Problem solved, right? Well, not quite.

You’re not a hermit that prays in a cave.

No—you’re a Muslim,

and that means practicing your values in the world that you inhabit every day.

So why maintain a separate calendar?

If you’re a busy person, you probably use a calendar app to keep track of your time. You could manually add salah times to your calendar, but in most parts of the world, those times shift gradually every day. Believe me, it takes a lot of dedication to keep those five calendar events up to date!

Using a separate app for salah just isn’t the same.

There will be calendar conflicts.

There’s a much higher chance of accidentally scheduling something when it’s time for salah, or of someone else sending you a meeting invite when it’s time for Zuhr, Asr, or even Jummah!

It’s so powerful to have each salah scheduled.

Your spiritual and worldly lives don’t have to compete with each other anymore. Each has its appointed time. Plus, you don’t have to will yourself to decide what to do; if your appointment with Allah is already scheduled on your calendar, you’re much more likely to keep that appointment.

Announcing SajdaSync

SajdaSync is the first and only tool that lets you quickly add location-accurate salah times to your preferred calendar app.

PHASE 1: FREE

To prioritize your five prayers, they must be listed with your other commitments.

Just give SajdaSync permission to add items to your calendar, pick a location, and specify a start and end date, and all five salah times will be added to your calendar. It’s that easy.

But what if you’re traveling?

No worries: just let SajdaSync know the start and end dates for the new location, and it will update those calendar entries. No duplicates, and definitely no manual updates. In fact, you only actively use SajdaSync when you change locations. The rest of the time, it’s just you and your regular calendar app.

At launch, SajdaSync will support Google Calendar.

Then, support will expand to include iCal, Microsoft Outlook, Notion Calendar, or whichever calendar apps are most requested by SajdaSync users.

PHASE 2: PLUS

More features. One purchase. No subscriptions.

For a small one-time fee, SajdaSync users will be able to unlock many premium features:

Multiple Calendars

Sync to more than one calendar, even if they use different accounts or platforms.

Custom Calendar Entries

Adjust prayer durations. Snap start times to the nearest 5, 10, or 15-minute interval. Reserve time before adhan for wudu.

Track Your Salah

Mark each successful salah. Review your progress to stay motivated and create a virtuous cycle.

Custom Reminder Tones

Replace the default notification sound with adhan by the muezzin of your choice.

SajdaSync’s mission:

Become the ummah’s preferred reference for prayer times worldwide.

PHASE 3: GLOBAL MASJID DIRECTORY

But what about Jummah and Eid?

That’s why in its second phase, SajdaSync will enable masjids around the world to easily inform their local communities about their salah times for Jummah and Eid. SajdaSync users can simply log in and select their local masjid for official salah times.

If you’re a busy person, you probably use a calendar app to keep track of your time. You could manually add salah times to your calendar, but in most parts of the world, those times shift gradually every day. It takes a lot of dedication to keep those five calendar events up to date!

SajdaSync will also empower users to report those timings in case your masjid hasn’t provided us an official update.
